We are currently looking for IT Delivery Project Managers and Team Leaders to join our team in the International Organisations sector. You would be responsible for:

  • Elaboration of estimates and planning of the project in collaboration with the experts.
  • Definition of project organization, roles and responsibilities, methodologies and project strategies and plans.
  • Be the main point of contact for the project matters, being in continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope to ensure full alignment with the contract, in case of detecting deviations he/she should ensure a proper change management process.
  • Monitor and control project logs: risks, actions, issues, changes, decisions, lessons learned, etc...
  • Chair follow-up meetings to report progress, and other management meetings with the project board.
  • Take care of workload and define a proper balance across the project team, boosting talent and promote a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Ensure that the project keeps quality, deadlines and budget as defined in the project mandate.
  • Reporting forecasts and updated estimations to closely follow-up possible deviations.
  • Support the project team on complex aspects related to analysis, design, development, testing, validation, training, deployments, etc.., contributing with his/her experience and lessons learned in similar projects.
  • Transmitting knowledge to the team in a continuous basis.

Requisitos

  • Proven experience on delivering complex IT projects being hands-on working on estimates, planning, follow-up, analysis, design, development, testing and validation activities.
  • Having a strong IT background, with at least 5 years of experience working as: developer, architect, functional consultant, quality manager, etc...
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, able to deal with conflicts and reaching satisfactory agreements.
  • Perfect understanding and proven experience on applying project management methodologies. It is highly valuable that the candidate has certifications on PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFE, Scrum or similar.
  • Proven experience on project management techniques for: estimates, risks management, scope management, performance monitoring, workshops delivering, etc.…
  • Attention to details and Quality oriented person, ensuring that the team delivers good quality deliverables. Proven experience on performing quality checks and audits. Able to define quality and testing strategies and plans.
  • Perfect command of MS project, Excel.
  • English language is required in the day to day, so candidate should be able to maintain meetings with non-native speakers and elaborate proper meeting minutes with significant details.
  • University degree.
