Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Description

Operations Manager is a key role within NTT DATA and for our clients. The role is responsible for the delivery of the service to an NTT DATA client in Strasbourg, maintaining the operational integrity of the infrastructure under scope and managing people. 

YOUR ROLE:

  • Responsible for the Infrastructure Operations, managing a Team between 10 and 20 people.
  • Responsible for the achievement of the SLA's.
  • Manage one or more teams of engineers and lead the teams to resolve highly business impactful major incidents
  • Train, develop, and evaluate team members.
  • Own the relevant operational standards, processes and procedures.
  • High level of analytical abilities, decision making, and deductive reasoning
  • Actively and continuously identifies new areas for improvements / optimization in the services.
  • Participate in definition of the technology strategy, and specifically lead the operational aspects.
  • Manage and plan assignments along with priority goals and requirements in the preparation of complex projects.
  • Direct the teams identifying the root cause of an incident and the preparation of problem management reports
  • Ensure all changes are planned, and executed with no business interruption

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Past experience in a managerial role in IT operations essential.  Overall experience and knowledge of IT systems and technologies essential.
  • Experience managing and development people.
  • Degree in computer science or equivalent technical degree
  • ITIL certification
  • Excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help other
  • Proven ability in project management skills and ability to teach others
  • Systematic and analytical thinking and working skills
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English
  • You must be elegible for NATO security clearance (criminal record will be asked).
