Business Consultant - Telecom

Description

We are currently looking for a Business Consultant to join our Telecom team in Amsterdam. You will be part of a high performing team, working on C level strategic topics, and collaborating with international teams located in Europe, Asia and Latin America. You will have the perks of working for a global company, but keeping the local and personal feel.

We are looking for candidates with Consulting and/or experience in the Communications/Telecommunication sector

Key responsibilities

  • You will translate the business needs of your (potential) client and define the scope of new projects and propose the right solution. You will serve as key contact person for your clients on commercial and financial, technical, project management and delivery levels.
  • You will offer strategic design, development, and implementation support to larger running (transformation) programs.
  • You will manage and participate in the capture and definition of all stakeholder requirements and agreement on their prioritization.
  • You will run workshops that help define e.g. “to-be” solutions, customer journeys and new business processes.
  • You will ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required quality level.
  • You will keep up to date with the latest innovative technologies in the market (like for example RPA, data analytics, IoT), and suggest recommendations to the client’s C levels, together with experts in these areas within NTT DATA
  • You will actively look for new commercial opportunities and help develop customer accounts with NTT DATA’s value propositions and best practices together with local and international colleagues.

Requirements

  • You have 4 to 10 years of working experience and are excited to further develop yourself
  • You have a university degree in a technical, business and/or financial/economic area.
  • You have a telecom industry background with Technology or commercial experience and are  familiar with telecom networks – key trends, architecture, implementation or design
  • You develop long term relationships with your clients, based on a qualitative contact and a good delivery expertise
  • You coordinate and develop teams (local, at the client or abroad/remote) and ensure an excellent project performance
  • You have strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of telecom trends and able to explain complex information to non-technical clients and customers.
  • You have good knowledge of the telecom business processes   
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (Spanish would be an asset).
